Meet Lindsey

Personal experience, professional expertise, and a calm, private space for women.

I’ve spent the past 30 years in a corporate environment, and during that time I built a discrete skillset and I trained with the best—Paul McKenna in hypnosis, Richard Bandler in NLP, and Dr. Stacy Sims in women’s physiology and the menopause.

With a background in personal training, psychology, nutrition, coaching, hypnosis, NLP and menopause expertise, I blend all of these skills to create truly bespoke, development plans for each woman I work with. No two women are the same—so, no two plans should be either.

Meet Lindsey

I’ve spent the past 30 years in a corporate environment, and during that time I built a discrete skillset and I trained with the best—Paul McKenna in hypnosis, Richard Bandler in NLP, and Dr. Stacy Sims in women’s physiology and the menopause.

In Sussex, I ran my own part-time fitness and coaching practice, offering fitness bootcamps and personal ‘behaviour change’ coaching sessions.

In 2025, I made the huge decision to leave my Director’s role in London, sold my house, moved to Somerset and created my own private women’s wellbeing studio. The Little Nook is a space where I can focus on my passion: enabling women in optimising their fitness, strength and wellbeing and women can focus on themselves, for a change!

With a background in personal training, psychology, nutrition, coaching, hypnosis, NLP and menopause expertise, I blend all of these skills to create truly bespoke, development plans for each woman I work with. No two women are the same—so, no two plans should be either.

If you’re ready to gain strength, rebuild confidence, or simply prioritise yourself for a change, then I’d love to support you on that journey.

My own ill-health journey

I understand exactly how it feels to have a cancer diagnosis and major surgery — I felt flattened, drained and frustrated, I didn’t feel like me!

Once I had the all-clear from my surgeon, even though I’m a PT myself, I worked with a PT because I needed support and guidance to rebuild safely.

Radiotherapy came six months later, and the side effects hit me hard, but I kept showing-up and trained three times a week.

Some days I had nothing in the tank—zero energy, depleted, exhausted physically and emotionally —but my time in the gym became:

  • My sanctuary.
  • My me-time.
  • My opportunity to rebuild.

Now, I’m here with renewed strength and purpose; stronger than I have ever been. I’m ready to support other women navigating their own post-surgery or cancer journeys.

My thoughts on weight loss

With the menopause, surgery and radiotherapy, I gained 12kg and 2 dress sizes over a period of 4-5 years. I know from personal experience, that there is no magic wand!

I will never promote the idea of a dramatic, short-term shred—it’s simply not sustainable. Even the new weight-loss injections, while effective in the short-term, come with questions about maintenance. What happens when you stop?

As women, we deserve more than chasing numbers on a scale. This means shifting focus to:

  • Optimising body composition
  • Building muscle
  • Reducing visceral fat
  • Renewing self and body-confidence

and creating a body that supports us for life and into old age.

I’ve addressed the weight-gain and have a new confidence in my shape, and I am here to support you!

Menopause – it’s a life-stage!

At 57, I’ve lived through the rollercoaster of menopause, and I’m passionate about helping women navigate this life-stage.

So much of the advice online is confusing or fear-based, and frankly, a lot of it is just a basis for a sales pitch. That’s why I chose to study with Dr. Stacy Sims—so I could truly understand the science, how our hormonal changes impact our bodies and then help women with real science-backed action, not fads.

Instead of obsessing about weight, let’s shift the focus to

  • Strength
  • Lean muscle mass
  • Functional movement
  • Ageing strong!

As we age—which we can’t avoid—let’s plan for independence and vitality, long into our 90s. Let’s stay strong for the grandchildren, for adventures, for independence, for confidence, for the life we want to keep living.

Let’s age strong, together.

As Sara Cox says, let’s be “awesome and bad-ass”.
